Hier wird das sehr umfängliche Projekt in Form von Bildern und einfachen Dokumenten dargestellt.

Herausforderungen:

Vor 2+ Jahren musste aufgrund der Hitze dieses Sommers die komplette technische und software- technische Projektstruktur geändert werden.

Der HP Netserver Unternehmensserver hat mit den integrierten Raidcontrollern seinen Geist aufgegeben. Der Server wurde komplett auseinandergebaut, die Fehler analysiert, Lösungen erarbeitet, der Server wurde erneut wieder zusammengebaut, und mit der Hälfte des Raidsystems betrieben. Zwischenzeitlich sind wieder 2 Raidsysteme vorhanden.

Aufgrund dessen musste die Serverstruktur und die Festplatten komplett gewechselt werden. Neue gekauft, ausprobiert und eingebaut werden.

Die komplette Installation, die seit Jahren läuft, war nicht mehr vorhanden. Alles musste neu gemacht werden, mit sehr wenig Kapital. Und einem ernormen Aufwand an Zeit.

Die beteiligten Hard- und Softwaresyste wurden komplett umgestaltet, und neuen Technologien und auf neue Sicherheits- Mechanismen und Möglichkeiten umgerüstet.

Ausserdem sind im Laufe der Jahre auch in diesem Jahr andere Hardwarekomponenten (PC, Festplatten, USV) kaputtgegangen. Diese sind ebenfalls ersetzt.

Das Oracle E-Business Suite Projekt wird unter anderen auf einem älteren, professionellen Server verwirklicht. Zu Zeiten der Version 11.5. war diese Art Server u.a. die Grundlage für Konzerne und grössere Firmen.

Challenge:

2 years ago the complete technical and software technical project structure had to be changed on account of the heat in summer 2013.

The HP Netserver enterprise server has given up his work with the integrated raidcontrollers. The server was completely disassembled, failure reasons have to be found. The server has to be repaired. It was assembled once more again, and was pursued with half of the Raidsystems. Now there are 2 raidsystems working again.

On account of that the server structure and the hard disks had to be completely changed. New ones are bought, are tried out and are inserted.

The complete installation which runs for many years did not exist any more. Everything had to be made new, with very small budget. And an ernormous expenditure in time.

The involved hard- and software systems are completely reshaped at THE TIME, and are reequipped to new technologies and to new security mechanisms and opportunities. This is already done now.

Moreover, other hardware components (PC, hard disks, USV) have broken in the course of the years, also this year. They have been already renewed.

The involved systems are altered at the moment and reshaped. These systems are now nearly in a good project status:

The Oracle E-Business Suite project is getting to work under an older, professional server. In times of Oracle EBS Version 11.5 was this the kind of server for big companies and concerns.
